Ask for what you need to succeed once you know you are deserving. Make it clear to your boss that you want to move forward and that you are prepared to do what it takes and more. Keep track of everything you contribute to and anything you have developed, created or initiated that has made or will make the organization money and/or save time and/or increase productivity.
