Many people I speak with are not clear that when responding to an email or writing an email using their smartphone, the could be creating issues that will knock them out of the interview game. Autocorrect is the biggest culprit. We want to respond immediately. We are out and the only device we have is a smartphone so a note goes back riddled with errors or extra spacing which creates an impression of you. If you excel at grammar and spelling, you have a better chance if you disable autocorrect. You may consider a quick note back like, thank you . . .
