Recruitment firms are called many different names in the employment market. There are executive search firms, recruiting firms, placement agencies, contract agencies, temporary agencies, specialty hiring firms and of course everyone’s favourite slang, headhunters. In Canada these are paid for services by the hiring organization. In the U.S.A. it is a mix of client pay and job seeker pay depending on the type of firm you engage. Internationally fees can be also paid by the client organization however depending on where the organization is hiring from this can change from country to country. There are specialty firms . . .
