You can think I don’t know what I am talking about but I promise, I do. As a sample of the many challenges in my own life, I will share one major challenge. When I was in my early 20’s I was in an accident. Lots happened within the 9 months I was hospitalized. In order to walk again after being confined to a bed for over 9 months, I required hip replacements to walk again. Wear and tear as an active person has earned me a total of 8 hip replacements (4 on each side) as of today including one with 6 screws, a clamp, and 2 bone allographs. I have used a cane to walk for 12 years now. More surgeries will come for as long as they can continue to do them. You can imagine the significant challenges I go through. Those that know me would tell you I am truly one of the most positive people they know. I had no choice but to accept what happened, fight to live and walk again. I believed with everything inside of me that I was worth the work and effort. I still believe. I could keep going but I think you get the point.
