This is one of those lucky years when Friday is December 21st and the next workday is Monday, December 24th. Everyone I have spoken within the last three weeks has mentioned that they are grateful for the way the holidays fall this year. Some organizations are officially shutting down their corporate offices, today Friday, December 21st and not expecting the main staff to come back until December 27th at the earliest if not using 2 holiday days. If holidays are being utilized, then the official back to work day for most will be Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.

This is a great block of time that I am certainly looking forward to. Everyone I am speaking with is saying that “they are definitely stressed”. Truly jam-packed year according to all. When December cuts short to a three-week month, most feeling the strain. Experience has shown that as enjoyable as it will be when all shuts down, we have to get there first.

If you work in retail or in critical healthcare positions or anywhere that runs 24/7, obviously this doesn’t apply to you unless you are off on blocked holidays but for those in companies that have clients who will be gone, it’s a good time to catch up on what never gets done.

Today software can do just about anything we need it to from shopping made simple from food to frivolous to necessity. Social selling is the present and future of business. Many people buy online in their personal lives so it is reasonable to assume those same people want that same ease of purchase in their business lives. If you have been full-out for months, take this special time to relax with family and friends, live a little special time and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, safe and wonderful New Year coming forward from the team!
